I have been away for awhile - Google AdSense denied my application

I have been away from this blog for awhile. Actually I've been quite angry at Google AdSense as they denied my application for ads on this blog, maybe that's for the best. I hate seeing Michele Bachmann for Pres. ads or ads that are counterintuitive to this blog and the posting on which the ad will appear. Plus I've been rather disappointed in the lack of response to this blog. I've posted links on my FB page and twitter to no avail = no followers. The problem is that right now, their is a glut of blogs. I have to keep plugging at it. My question to other bloggers regarding an answer to ads on my blog is - are there other options to Google adsense?
